Purchase holds in SpotPro — optional waiting periods for public buys
Optional SpotPro purchase holds after NumisNexus buys: POS Config Holds, release queue, safe-pull and held-lot prints. Not pawn software; not legal advice.
Optional purchase holds in SpotPro let coin and bullion shops keep public buys out of sellable inventory for a waiting period you choose — after NumisNexus / Stock a buy — without turning SpotPro into pawn-loan software. Not legal advice; not forced by the platform.

Where it lives in SpotPro
- Settings: Configuration → Point of Sale Config → Holds (days, release hour, email notice, local notes)
- Queue: Point of Sale → Purchase holds (release due, log, dashboard Needs attention)
- Go to (Ctrl/Cmd+K): “purchase holds”, “safe pull”, “waiting period”, “held lots”
- AI Spot: ask about scrap hold, waiting period, or safe pull

What staff can print
- Safe-pull — due items + released today checklist
- Held lots — per-item cards with signature lines (safe / released / floor)
- Rules notes — industry patterns + state-oriented orientation (not legal counsel)
- Full packet — all three

Important limits
SpotPro does not auto-apply every city or state scrap/secondhand statute, does not replace LE reporting systems, and is not a pawn product (no loans, tickets, or interest). Holds manage inventory sellability and public visibility until you release them.
