How SpotPro NumisNexus buying desk actually works for staff

Updated August 2026. NumisNexus is SpotPro’s structured buying desk. It turns “we paid cash for a pile of silver” into a ticket with a customer link, line items, staff PIN, and a path into inventory — the difference between a professional shop and a shoebox of receipts.

What good tickets contain

• Customer record (or documented cash/anonymous policy)
• Clear description — not just “coins”
• Counts, weights, fineness where relevant
• Price paid and payment method
• Staff identity via PIN
• Notes on problems (cleaning, damage, “customer says key date”)

Presets keep spreads consistent

Build presets for the products you buy every day: ASE, junk face multiples, common gold ounces, scrap karat tables via your scrap config. New staff should not invent spreads under pressure. Consistency is loss control and reputation control.

After the buy

Label, inventory, optional ExtraCoins list (online or in-store-only). Pieces that will hit the shopping feed need photos and honest titles before you mark them buyable. Training: ten supervised buys before unsupervised shifts.
